  • Warren E. Dalton, Co-Manager-Land/Business Development

    Warren embarked on his professional journey with Ashland Oil, Inc. in 1977, and over the course of 45 years, he has remained actively engaged in all aspects of the oil and gas industry. His extensive expertise spans the development of oil and gas minerals, with a focus on exploration in diverse regions such as Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Florida.

    Warren is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Petroleum Land Management.

  • Stephen P. Hartzell, Co-Manager-Geologist

    Steve commenced his professional journey with Amoco Production Company in 1978, assuming the role of a petroleum geologist. Throughout his career, he has contributed his expertise to various regions, including the Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas sectors of the Gulf Coast basin, as well as the Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Illinois basins. Steve is well-versed in log analysis, 2-D and 3-D seismic interpretation, field studies, reserve analysis, and oil and gas economics, showcasing a robust technical background.

    Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Western Illinois University and furthered his academic pursuits with a Master of Science in Geology from Northern Illinois University.

  • Chris Robinson, Geoscience Manager

    Chris Robinson has 22 years of experience as a geoscientist working the US Gulf Coast. The majority of Chris’ career has consisted of the generation and evaluation of prospects working extensively the conventional Wilcox, Yegua, Frio, Lobo, Reklaw, offshore Miocene, Edwards, Sligo, James, along with the unconventional resource plays including the Woodford, Wolfcamp, Eagleford, Frontier, Austin Chalk, Utica, Marcellus, Bossier and Haynesville. Chris’ prior employment has included positions with Anadarko, Newfield, SM Energy, Cathexis, Common Resources, and Vecta Oil and Gas.

    Chris has an MS in Geophysics from Colorado School of Mines (2000) and a BS in Physics from Texas A&M University (1998).

  • Anne Nguyen, Mineral-Royalty Records Administrator

    Anne began her career in the oil and gas industry in 2008 with Southern Star Exploration as Office Manager and Accounting Supervisor. Anne administrates the processing of mineral and royalty acquisitions. Anne attended the University of Houston-Downtown.

    Jennifer brings over 15 years of expertise in organization and operations management. Recently, she has transitioned into a professional role within the oil and gas industry, building on a solid foundation of prior experience and industry knowledge.
    Jennifer has a BA degree from Texas A&M University.
